Getting a new toy is always fun, even if the reason for getting it isn’t the best.

  • Be glad you are attacking the situation now. My bariatric physician likes to tell people that even a 10% weight loss will give you significantly better energy and bloodwork. Thankfully you are just "borderline" in the health department. Even just 4-5 years from now, there could be more damage and your metabolism will have dropped even more. Make a deal with yourself that you can't watch an hour of TV without walking while watching. Then, make your kids do the same thing! Keep in mind we all are lazy and lack discipline and motivation...that, too, is sin.
