Both my husband and I agree that would love to have a boxer IF we didn't already have our very large Black Labrador (105lbs at ideal weight, but keeps aiming for 110). Great photos! I love image 1394 - there's some good dialogue going on in that photo!

Re: Sixty Percent?

Any truth to the rumor that they have been assigned a goal of 100 million new songs by 2017?

Re: Not dead yet

True dat.

I've got some photos I need to process, both from around Holly's first birthday, and then from a recent weekend when Holly & Hammie helped us dog-sit a 9 month old, 60 lb. Boxer puppy. That was an interesting 26 hours at Schloß TB! ;)

Re: Not dead yet

You rock, Frank -- even for one of them backwards North Cackalackians! ;) (Haute South, indeed! Though I do miss me some pulled pig & sweet tea...) That you're down there doing battle in the SWD gives hope, Frank, 'cause I know from my 12 years down there just how bad it was, and I can only imagine what's gone down in the past 7 years...

Re: Not dead yet

I know what you mean. My biggest problem is with the crystal light. It's got to be wine.

In the first century, there would not have been any ordained priests. If communion is a new way of celebrating the seder (which it is), the necessity of adding an ordained minister is a post-scriptural addition (I think). I can see lay persons performing/administering the sacrament, but only when it's 'necessary'.

Re: Disqus

Glad to see you have jumped on the disqus bandwagon... I haven't watched it in six years, but I simply couldn't stand the gushing, emotional, near-flirtatious manner in which so-called veteran professional journalists were going on and on about the Obama win.

Re: Autumn or Fall?

Fall!

Re: Click this in Remembrance of Me

Whoa. I've always preferred Autumn, if only because it sounds better/more literate. Problem is, it also can sound a bit more pretentious. But I'm generally ok with that, as I like to use the big words I spent my parents' money to learn over all those years in school. ;^)

Re: Autumn or Fall?

I like autumn better because it is easier to make into an adjective. However, I am a horrible mother as I always forget grandparents day and my kids never call or write, or send cute cards. Safe, loved and always special is the way they made us feel...but BBB you are wrong on one count...I was the favorite!! But, that sums up what made them special because each of us grand kids thought we were #1. Which is a lesson I have tried to carry on with my girls and God willing with the grandchildren I am blessed with(...just not right yet!) And I am also proud to say I was a Papa's girl much like mom and most certainly am a daddy's girl to our father. You are a good boy for not bringing up my age but I must say I feel really blessed to have had grandparents for half a century (stated that way sounds old...I'm not)
Oh, I gotta stop...I'm starting to tear up...bet you're surprised at that one eh? Thank you for that trip down memory lane. You are a wonderfully eloquent BBB! I love you...
big sis

Re: I don’t like storms

If I may suggest a battery back up for your sump pump.
